I am an educator at heart. I love it when someone has an “Ah-Ha” moment of understanding. Medicare is confusing and frustrating, but I have found ways to simplify what appears difficult.
Simply stated: I enjoy Taking the Mystery Out of Medicare!
My degree, English & Health Education, was never used in as a teacher in a classroom setting. The setting I have chosen is teaching people how insurance works. We established a kiosk in Rimrock Mall as a simple place you can stop by and ask questions. You are welcome to stop by or schedule an appointment to ensure our availability.
I grew up in Billings, moved to Laurel where I finished high school then on to Bozeman – Go Cats! After graduation I moved to Washington, DC where Bob and I began dating. We knew the east coast was not for us, so we moved to Colorado and have been married for 30 years. We started an insurance agency in Loveland, CO in 2000.
In 2019, we sold a portion of our insurance agency in Colorado and finally moved back home to Billings. As a Billings native it is fantastic being back home.
We are blessed to have both of our girls, Maria and Sara, here with us in this “Last Best Place.” As the icing on the cake, both of my parents are doing well living on the family homestead ranch outside of Absarokee. I cannot express how awesome it is to be so close. We treasure every moment we get to spend with our family.
This beautiful Big Sky Country is meant to be enjoyed but certainly not taken for granted! While we love fishing, camping, bike riding, and skiing, my favorite is enjoying our back porch listening to the birds. We also enjoy being contributing members of our community through our church and service organizations.

Taking the Mystery Out of Medicare is the culmination of 20 years in the insurance industry.
My formal education is in Industrial Engineering. That means I like repeatable processes, fool-proofing systems and getting ahead of any issues or problems and fixing things.
When I started in the insurance industry, my goal was to have a family business. Initially that meant working together with Gail and having a business that was friendly to our family needs. As our children have grown and moved out our family has extended to our clients. We treat our clients like family – addressing questions and offering solutions just like we would if we were at the Thanksgiving dinner table.
Gail and I have been married for 30 years, and we have enjoyed working together as a team for the last 20 years. She is a Montana native, we met on the east coast and spent much of our married lives in Colorado. We finally answered the call of Montana and returned to Gail’s hometown. We are tremendously blessed as our girls, Maria and Sara, have also moved to Montana.
One of the benefits of having our own business is the ability to be involved in the community. Over the years I have enjoyed Rotary, other civic organizations, volunteering at church. (Being the sound guy is the best!) Gail and I enjoy Montana’s wide-open spaces, camping, fishing, bike riding and skiing with friends and family.

I have found many ways to volunteer my time, but the single best thing Montana has offered me is a community where I feel treasured and valued.
